- Mobile ad serving with DFP Small Business
- Google Apps for Business

  Tip of the Month

Attract premium advertisers to your site

Most of our premium advertisers have started to plan for the holiday season and you should too! By opting in to placement targeting, advertisers will be able to target your ad units directly.

In order to ensure your site is getting the highest-paying available ads, we recommend that you also keep these best practices in mind:

1. Implement your ad units above the fold near your content, where users are engaging with your site without scrolling down.

2. Use our top-performing ad formats because most advertisers use them to design their campaigns - medium rectangle (300x250), large rectangle (336x280), leaderboard (728x90) and wide skyscraper (160x600).

3. Opt your ad units into text and image ads so that all relevant, available ad inventory is competing to appear on your site.

Creating placements is easy and a great way to earn extra revenue, but it takes time for them to show up for advertisers, so act soon!

We're soon retiring the old AdSense interface

0 komentar

Hi,

Since releasing the new AdSense interface to all publishers, we've been continuously working to improve and support the new version. With that in mind, we're writing to let you know that we'll soon be retiring the old AdSense interface and asking all publishers to use the new interface.

If you haven't already, we recommend switching to the new interface as soon as possible to familiarize yourself with the updated layout and new features. To do so, sign in and click the 'Try the new AdSense interface' link in the upper corner of your account. We understand that this adjustment may take some time, so you'll still be able to toggle back and forth between the old and new interfaces during the coming weeks. You'll see another notification in your account as we approach the date when this option will no longer be available.

As a reminder, the new AdSense interface offers additional insights in the form of detailed graphs and reports, new ad blocking controls, and increased efficiency through a visual redesign. We've now added many of your top-requested features -- including the ability to create scheduled reports and view channels on the Home tab. We encourage you to watch our video tutorials at http://www.youtube.com/user/InsideAdSense#g/c/B067D355E59D96E0, which will guide you through completing common tasks in your account. You can also find detailed information in our Help Center for the new interface (http://www.google.com/adsense/support/as/).

With this transition, we'll be able to focus on building new and improved features into the new interface more quickly. Thank you for your support, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

AdSense display ads will now feature the +1 button

0 komentar

Hello,

In the next month, we'll introduce the +1 button and personal recommendations to display ads. The +1 button will begin to appear on AdSense for Content and AdSense for Mobile Content display ad formats -- image, animated gif, and Flash. +1s will be one additional signal to help determine an ad's relevance and we'll continue to show the ads that will generate the most revenue for you.

We previously launched the +1 button on Google search and for publisher sites to make it easier for people to share and discover content across the web. Soon, your users will be able to endorse specific ads and make the ads more likely to appear to their social connections. We believe that these recommendations could help your readers notice ads on your site more, leading to higher returns for you over time.

If you prefer not to show the +1 buttons on display ads on your pages, you can opt out in your account. For more information please visit the Inside AdSense blog.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense team
